Privacy Policy (English)

Opdrachtcheck, last updated 26 October 2026

Opdrachtcheck ("the app") is a free macOS desktop application for freelance photographers, developed by Lars Smook (larsfotografie.nl, contact: info@larsfotografie.nl). The app runs entirely on the user's own Mac. The developer operates no server that receives user data.

Google user data we access

If the user chooses to use the optional Availability feature and signs in with Google, the app requests these scopes:

How the data is used

Calendar data is used only to display colleagues' availability inside the app and to manage the user's own availability entry at the user's request. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or any other purpose.

Sharing

The app does not transfer, sell or share Google user data with anyone. Data goes directly between the user's Mac and Google's APIs. The developer cannot see it. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. No humans read the data, because it never leaves the user's device.

Storage, retention and security

The OAuth refresh token is stored only in the macOS Keychain on the user's Mac. Calendar events are held in memory while the app shows them and are not stored on any server. The app communicates with Google over HTTPS.

Deletion and revoking access

The user can sign out of Google inside the app, which deletes the token from the Keychain, or revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data. For any request, contact info@larsfotografie.nl.
